Tom is a psychotherapist, doctor and author.
He specialises in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), incorporating acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and drawing on his knowledge and experience as a medical doctor. He is also significantly influenced by Carl Rogers and Eastern philosophical thought, particularly the ideas originating from Buddhism, Taoism and Hinduism.
His debut book, Self-Obsession, examines the human condition to understand why we suffer and how we can live a more fulfilled and happier life. Specifically, he explores the link between identity or self and anxiety and depression.
